    CONTACTOR EMPLOYEES

Welcome to the NASA workforce! As a contractor employee, you join thousands of other contractors and civil service employees who work together to accomplish NASA’s missions.

As a NASA contract employee, you work for--and are supervised by---the company that hired you. The information and tools provided on this website are provided to you and your company as advisory resources to help ensure that you have the foundation tools, resources, and organizational perspective that will allow you to begin supporting NASA’s work.

  • NASA’s Orientation process for contractor employees familiarizes you with a number of safety, security, information technology, and mission-related topics.

  • To guide you through your orientation process for contractor employees, you will first need to develop your personalized checklist using My Checklist Builder. Once you answer a few simple questions, this tool will produce a checklist that provides a listing of actions, activities, and forms that you should complete within certain time frames.

  • You are strongly encouraged to accomplish the checklist items before or soon after you begin work.
