Employee Briefings

Today is your first day as an employee at NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC). Where do I go? Who do I meet? All these questions and more are answered at the New Employee Orientation. These mandatory orientation briefings are held on Monday (the first day you arrive at GSFC), and begin promptly at 8:00am.

The agenda for these briefings is as follows:
  • Introductions by members of the Office of Human Resources (OHR)
  • An overview of NASA and GSFC is given
  • Benefit forms and all official documents are discussed and completed
  • You are sworn-in as an Official Government employee
  • You will also view an important Security video, and be advised regarding necessary IT Security Training.
