The NASA Centralized Travel Office International Travel Handbook implements NASA policies and procedures covering official international travel by NASA personnel in the performance of their official duties. This handbook does not replace NASA travel regulations or the Federal Travel Regulations (FTR); however, it will clarify some of the basic rules and procedures that must be followed while performing official international travel. The goal of NASA's Centralized Travel Office is to keep the traveler informed of significant changes in regulations. To make travel easier for all NASA employees, basic information about travel processes and procedures for international travel is included. Please remember the details in this document are based on regulations and guidelines that are subject to change. The NASA Centralized Travel Office must adhere to the most recent guidelines. For access to these regulations as well as other links via the internet: Regulations
