First Day Agenda

 
  • Greet new employee
  • Collect signed/completed forms from pre-employment package
  • Visually inspect two forms of ID/document on I-9 Form
  • Explain/Counsel and entertain questions on benefits (Health, Life, TSP)
  • Give info about the Center, policies, pay dates, useful websites, phone numbers, etc.
  • Administer the Oath of Office
  • Give employee info concerning Organization and AO and location info
  • Coordinate with Protective Services for Security briefing
  • Send employee to be badged /Bldg 4312
  • Send employee to report to AO/Org
  • Prepare/assemble the Official Personnel Folder according to OPM guidelines
  • Order OPF from previous Federal employer
  • Process forms/data in the Federal Payroll and Personnel System (FPPS) downloads to WebTADS
  • Sign and take completed forms to Payroll
  • Mail Medical a copy of SF-50
