CHECKLIST FOR NEW EMPLOYEES

 
  • You are required to obtain a Temporary Visitor Pass
    • Human Resources will have completed a signed Personnel Security Request form and submitted to security on your behalf.
    • Go to the Pass and Identification Building (Gate #3) on the NASA Causeway, SR-405, south of Titusville and approximately 1/2 mile east of U.S. Highway 1;
    • or at the Pass and Identification Building (Gate #1) adjacent to the south entrance of Cape Canaveral Air Force Station
    • New Employees or visitors must be prepared to show two forms of Government issued identification. A list of approved forms of identification can be found here.
  • Enter Kennedy Space Center through Gate 1, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, or Gate 3, NASA Causeway off U.S. Highway 1.
  • On reporting date, come to room 2533 in HQ Building by 8:30 a.m.
  • Bring in your hand completed pre-employment package
    • Human Resources Representative reviews completed documents/forms
  • Human Resources conducts a review on Federal Employee Benefits
    • Employee Receives documentation on Federal Employee Health Benefits (FEHB) and Federal Employee Group Life Insurance (FEGLI) for review and completion.
