CENTER DIRECTOR'S WELCOME

Welcome to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, ranked number one in the 2002 Federal Human Capital Survey as one of “The Best Places to Work” in the Federal government.

You have joined the NASA Headquarters team. NASA Headquarters is responsible for developing, coordinating, and promulgating Agency policy. We set program direction at the highest level. We have primary responsibility for NASA's communications with the White House and Congress, and we are the Agency's focal point for accountability with external organizations. We guide and integrate budget development, define the Agency's long-term institutional investments, and lead and coordinate Agency-wide functions.

Again, Welcome to the NASA Headquarters team. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you.
