West Lobby -- NASA Headquarters’ main lobby and entrance. All visitors are to report to security desk in the West Lobby. The West lobby is the main portal to gaining entrance to the building. In the West lobby you will find the James E. Webb Auditorium, NASA Exchange Store, various space and aeronautical exhibits, the security station and the Keith T. Glennan Library.

Library--The library has a wealth of specialized information about space, science, engineering and NASA, including several on-line searchable databases. Specialized periodicals and journals are also located here.

Mail Room--The mailroom is where you take oversized packages, special delivery, Fed Ex or return receipt mail. It is also where you pick up these same kinds of packages.

Fitness Center--NASA HQ provides supervised exercise programs and rehabilitative therapy for NASA civil service employees. The NASA HQ Health Unit physician must medically approve each participant. Stop by room CA96 or call 358-0138.

U.S. Capitol Mall View--The Capitol is just a few minutes' walk from NASA Headquarters. Three blocks away is the National Mall, connecting to the Tidal Basin and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial.

East/West Patio -- A roof top get away overlooking the SW area. You can relax, get a little sun and fresh air. You access the roof top by taking the stairs from the 9th floor east or west of the building.

Glennan Conference Center -- Newest of the NASA conference facility. This conference is located on the street level in Room 1035. This facility is used to host the “New Employee Orientation.” NASA Headquarters customers may electronically reserve meeting rooms located at Headquarters using the Facility Help Desk System (FHDS). Using your HQ User ID (no password required), log onto the Facilities Help Desk System (FHDS) to check the availability of meeting rooms.

Coffee Shop--The coffee shop provides fresh coffee, fresh cold lunches, fresh fruit, snacks and some personal items like pantyhose, fingernail clippers, aspirin, and lottery tickets.
