Goddard Orientation Home   The Buddy Program is in place to help you, the new employee, feel welcome on your first day of work.  A member of the New Employee Welcoming Board (NEWB) will meet you right after the New Employee Orientation Workshop has ended.  They are available to escort you to your new office, answer any questions you may have during your first few weeks of employment, and help you become acclimated to Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC). Your assigned Buddy will be a GSFC Employee who has been on Center for at least 6 months.  They will be familiar with center resources and will have received the required Buddy training outlined by the NEWB group.  Be sure that you will be in good hands!  The Buddy Program is another way we at GSFC hope to make you feel welcome and comfortable while you get adjusted to your new workplace.  New Employee Welcoming Board (NEWB) & GSFC New Employee Orientation Team (301) 286-7285
