As a permanent employee, you are serving on
an appointment that is not time limited. You generally will
be subject to a one year probationary period. Your appointment
type is indicated on your SF-50 notice of personnel action
that documents your appointment.
You will be required to accomplish a variety of activities
in order to complete your employee orientation. These activities
are listed in your personal orientation checklist that you
