New Employee Orientation Workshop HomeAmes Orientation Home

The purpose of the New Employee Orientation is to introduce new employees to Ames Research Center, provide a general background of the Center and Agency, present new employees with information on Ames services and facilities, and foster an environment for open communication and interactive friendliness.

The New Employee Orientation is an all day event which new civil servants are encouraged to participate in. The orientation consists of presentations by Jack Boyd, the Senior Advisor to the Center Director, and representatives from Ames Directorates; an overview of Ames Research Center history; an expo of on-center services; and exclusive tours of some of our most fascinating facilities.
