NASA's charter is to understand and protect our home planet, to advance the human exploration of space, to research and develop next generation aerospace technologies, and to climb new heights in biological and physical research. I am excited by the challenges and opportunities before us, doing things that only NASA can do. I am also excited by the great potential we have to inspire a new generation of explorers.
